Lord Derby Academy Secures Exploring Anatomy Experience for GCSE Students

Lord Derby Academy has confirmed its booking with Sam Piri, The Dissection Guy for an exciting Exploring Anatomy event for GCSE students, taking place as part of the upcoming academic programme.

The school has also successfully secured £600 in grant funding to support the event, helping maximise the educational opportunity for students while investing in an experience designed to bring science to life beyond the traditional classroom environment.

The Exploring Anatomy workshop has become one of the UK’s most engaging anatomy enrichment experiences for secondary schools, transforming school halls into immersive pop-up anatomy labs. Using real anatomical specimens and expert-led demonstrations, students are given a rare opportunity to explore the human body in a hands-on, interactive setting that directly supports GCSE Biology learning.
