Riverside School in Barking Secures Anatomy Event This July with £900 Grant Funding

The Dissection Guy is delighted to announce that Riverside School in Barking has booked an anatomy enrichment event for students this July, made possible through the successful award of £900 in grant funding.

The funding will enable students to take part in a unique educational experience designed to bring science to life through immersive, hands-on anatomy teaching. By investing in enrichment opportunities that extend beyond traditional classroom learning, Riverside School continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing students with engaging experiences that inspire curiosity, ambition, and academic success.

The event will give students the opportunity to explore real anatomical specimens through expert-led demonstrations, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of the structure and function of the human body. The experience is specifically designed to complement classroom Biology teaching while helping students visualise complex scientific concepts in a memorable and impactful way.

Students will investigate key body systems including the heart, lungs, brain, digestive system, and other major anatomical structures. Through direct observation and discussion, learners develop a richer understanding of human anatomy and physiology, helping reinforce curriculum knowledge while creating a genuine sense of excitement around science.
