Sam, The Dissection Guy is delighted to announce that Oaks Park Sixth Form has rebooked its Premed Anatomy experience for the next academic year, marking the third consecutive year of this successful partnership.

By securing a £600 grant, Oaks Park Sixth Form has once again demonstrated its commitment to providing ambitious students with exceptional educational opportunities that extend beyond the traditional curriculum and support progression into competitive healthcare careers.

Over the past three years, students have benefited from immersive anatomy sessions designed specifically for those considering careers in medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, biomedical science, and wider healthcare professions. The continued rebooking reflects the significant value the programme delivers in supporting both academic achievement and career aspiration.

The Premed Anatomy experience provides students with direct exposure to real anatomical specimens in a fully interactive, expert-led learning environment. Through the exploration of major body systems, students gain a level of anatomical understanding that goes far beyond what can be achieved through textbooks, diagrams, and classroom teaching alone.

For aspiring medical students, experiences such as these are particularly valuable. The programme helps students develop a deeper appreciation of human anatomy while providing meaningful clinical context that can strengthen UCAS personal statements, support medical school interviews, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to pursuing a healthcare career.

Students consistently report increased confidence in their understanding of complex biological concepts, while teachers frequently observe improved engagement and enthusiasm for A Level Biology following the sessions. The programme also helps students make stronger links between classroom theory and real-world medicine, creating memorable learning experiences that often influence future career choices.

The decision by Oaks Park Sixth Form to rebook for a third consecutive year is a testament to the lasting impact the programme continues to have on students and staff alike.

Sam, The Dissection Guy is proud to continue working with Oaks Park Sixth Form and looks forward to inspiring another cohort of future doctors, dentists, and healthcare professionals in the year ahead.
