John Wallis Church of England Academy in Ashford, Kent has secured its Premed Anatomy A Level Dissection Day for the 2026–2027 academic year marking the third consecutive year the academy has brought this flagship experience to its students.
This continued commitment reflects the value the programme delivers, giving A Level students a rare opportunity to engage directly with real anatomical specimens in a fully immersive, expert-led environment. The day is specifically designed to support students preparing for competitive pathways into medicine, dentistry, and wider healthcare careers, bridging the gap between classroom theory and real-world clinical understanding.
By booking early, the academy has also taken full advantage of the £600 funding grant, ensuring maximum value while securing a high-impact educational experience for the next cohort of students.
This ongoing partnership highlights a forward-thinking approach to science education prioritising depth of understanding, student engagement, and meaningful preparation for life beyond school.
We still have a funding round open for bids so if you're keen to get your students involved, inspire biology and promote clinical careers in a meaningful and high impact way email Lucy on ls@thedissectionguy.co.uk to start organsiaing your event!
