Today marks the final school visit of the spring term, and it’s great to be back at Cedars Upper School for another full day delivering Exploring Anatomy..

This is a return booking, and it’s always a strong sign when schools choose to bring the experience back for a new cohort of students building consistency and impact year on year.

Supporting Schools with Funding

For this visit, Cedars Upper School successfully secured £400 in grant funding, helping to reduce the cost of delivering the workshop.

With many schools facing tight budgets, accessing funding can make a real difference in ensuring students still benefit from high-quality, hands-on science experiences.

Support and guidance around available grants is always provided, helping departments unlock funding that might otherwise go unused.

Bringing the Curriculum to Life

Today’s sessions focus on giving students direct exposure to real anatomical specimens, reinforcing key curriculum topics in a way that is engaging, memorable, and academically meaningful.

Students benefit from:

  • A clearer understanding of structure and function in human anatomy

  • Hands-on experience that supports GCSE and post-16 biology learning

  • Insight into medical and healthcare career pathways

These sessions are designed to complement classroom teaching while giving students something they simply can’t experience through textbooks alone.

Ending the Term on a High

There’s no better way to round off the spring term than with a fully booked return visit and another group of students engaging directly with real anatomy.

A big thank you to the staff at Cedars Upper School for continuing to prioritise high-quality science education and making these opportunities available to their students.

If you’re planning for the next academic year, now is the ideal time to book particularly if you’re looking to secure grant funding and preferred dates before availability fills.
