Babington Academy in Leicester Books Exploring Anatomy Experience with The Dissection Guy

Babington Academy has booked Sam Piri The Dissection Guy to deliver the immersive Exploring Anatomy workshop for students, successfully securing a £600 funding grant to support the event.

The Exploring Anatomy programme is designed to bring Biology to life through an engaging, hands-on learning experience using real anatomical specimens in a fully interactive educational setting. The workshop allows students to explore the structure and function of the human body in a way rarely possible within the traditional classroom environment.

Throughout the session, students will investigate major body systems including the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems while learning directly from expert-led demonstrations. The experience is carefully designed to reinforce key GCSE Biology concepts, helping students visualise complex scientific ideas and develop a deeper understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
