Job Title: Freelance Anatomy Presenter

Location: We operate from our base in Goole (between Leeds, Doncaster & Hull). You will need to live within a reasonable commute of our operations centre. Onsite accommodation can be provided as part of the role.

Contract: Self-employed freelancer

Fee: £15.00 per hour

Led by renowned anatomy educator Sam Piri (BBC Dragons’ Den), we deliver unforgettable, hands-on experiences that inspire the next generation of medics, scientists, and healthcare professionals.

The Role
We are looking for an engaging, confident, and teachable Freelance Anatomy Presentesr to join our team. You’ll deliver dynamic, interactive sessions in person at educational institutions UK-wide. You will use real organ dissections, explaining complex concepts in a way that excites and inspires learners.

Responsibilities

Drive a small van to and from event locations nationwide
Work as a team with the technician to set the event up
Present live anatomy sessions to audiences ranging from GCSE to university level
Confidently handle and dissect real biological specimens in front of an audience
Communicate anatomy and physiology concepts clearly and enthusiastically
Represent The Dissection Guy brand professionally at all times
Travel across the UK (and occasionally abroad) to deliver events
Early starts

Requirements

Strong knowledge of human anatomy and related sciences (degree-level or equivalent experience preferred but for the right person full training will be provided from scratch)
Confident public speaker with excellent communication skills
Comfortable handling and dissecting real biological tissue (training provided)
Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
Solution focussed mindset
Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours when events require.
Can satisfactorily pass an enhanced DBS check
Must hold a UK driving licence and be aged 25 or over due to vehicle insurance terms

Desirable

Teaching or presenting experience in education, outreach, or science communication.
